The Department of Chemistry at Purdue University, West Lafayette, seeks applicants for a tenure-track position in Organic Chemistry. Candidates in all areas of organic chemistry, including catalysis and green chemistry, are encouraged to apply.
Successful candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree in chemistry or related field, to develop a vibrant research program supported by extramural funding, supervise graduate students, and demonstrate excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The faculty search will be conducted with an expectation of a hire at the assistant professor level. Applicants should send a letter of application with curriculum vitae and three references, a summary of planned and/or ongoing research, and a statement on teaching philosophy to:
