Ratings: CSI Rises on a Night of Lows (omg!)

No Grissom and no Willows? No problem for CSI.

The veteran drama was one of two shows Wednesday to see a ratings bump, when it introduced Elisabeth Shue's Julie "Finn" Finlay, pulling in 11.1 million viewers and a 2.7 rating in the adults 18-to-49 demo (up 2 and 8 percent, respectively).

The other show to enjoy a gain? Whitney, which reeled in 4.5 million eyeballs and a 1.6 rating, up vs. last week's 4.07 million and 1.5.

Every other series remained flat or dropped to season or series lows, even Revenge, which aired its much-anticipated Fire & Ice Ball episode. The soapy drama tied a series low in the demo with a 2.4.

Meanwhile, the season premiere of Survivor: One World (10.7 million, 3.0) posted a franchise low in the demo, down 6 percent, compared to its spring premiere a year ago.

American Idol won the night, holding steady with 18.6 million viewers and a 6.0 rating.
