Our client is a leading Financial Service firm who operates in over 200 countries worldwide. They are looking for an International Regulatory Affairs Executive to join their Compliance Department, who will cover Latin America predominantly and therefore ideally Spanish. The role will be focused around protecting and developing the firms trading platform through upholding a solid understanding of the relevant regulatory developments affecting the business.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Maintaining the businesses regulatory relationships and communications across both the Asia Pacific and Latin America through regular update calls and meetings.
- Support the firms' management of US regulatory relationships and communications.
- Scheduling visits relating regulators or Government authorities.
- Analysing insurance legislations/regulations, assessing its impact on the business.
- Drafting communications to the market on new developments.
- Verifying the businesses trading advice information.
- Attending events and Government consultations on behalf of the business.
- Co-ordinating occasional departmental projects.
- Providing support to the management team on any International Regulatory Affairs.
- Adopting and maintaining the customer relationship management system and any relevant applications where appropriate.
You will have an understanding of the regulations surrounding this environment and potentially come from a public affairs background. This position will allow you to further your regulatory knowledge across a multitude of jurisdictions within a fast paced environment, where having Spanish linguistic skills would be a significant positive. This business critical role will present you with the opportunity to directly impact upon the future growth and success of the firm by accurately interpreting any developments in the constantly changing regulatory environment.
